I can't find the install instructions for the Hopper Snap. Can anyone provide me the link or post the instructions? Thanks

I don't think it came with instructions. Just plug in back top USB port. .

You don't have to reboot, just plug it in? Does it show up in the Diagnostics screen? The reason I am asking is I got one for grandson in Lubbock. Just want to know how to help him if needed. Thanks to all for the help. I am hoping he will try to get a Hopper 3.

How old are you? (LMAO)
You don't seem like the type of guy who has a grandson old enough to be on his own.:)
I find this comment interesting Mack. This world of internet can be deceiving. While I only have a single granddaughter that is 2/12 I am 76. Charles could easily be on the other side of that. Let's say I married at 21 and had a child at 22. That child had a child, likewise at 22 while I was 44. Now if the grandchild reached the age of 22 I'd be 66. Not so hard to understand when you look at the perspective.

So do you need to reboot when the Hopper Snap is installed? Does it show up in the Diagnostic menu? Does it have its own software, gets updated occasionally, etc? I haven't followed all the Hopper Snap threads that close. Thanks.

I considered all of that, still seems like he could be younger then 60 by the style and content of his posts!
Whatever his age is it is a great thing. I love old people that are relevant and vibrant! :D (not that 72 is old. I am 56 and this 71 year old guy at my island cottage club would out work me most days. We are both products of our lifestyles!)

Nope. Just plug in, wait a few moments and, iirc, a screen will popup and say snap is ready. Its status is viewable in the diagnostics menu.
