Hopper Connected in Sysinfo, but BB@Home Not working?

This is the second time I have installed a hopper / joey system where the system info screen shows the hopper to be connected to broadband. The send status worked as well. But when trying to access Blockbuster at home, we get the disclaimer, then nada.

Is there a lag between connection and functionality. If so, how do you explain it to a customer so that Dish in general and I in particular don't look pretty inept?

Well I don't know about how to explain it to a customer, but from what I hear some H/J's can take up to 24 hours to gain BB@Home functionality. Both of mine had it instantly though.
 
Thanks. I'd heard that too but just assumed I did something wrong. We can put a man on the moon....
