Hopper 3, turn off info on right side of guide.

Greetings all, just moved from a 922 to the Hopper 3.

On the right hand side of the channel guide on the Hopper 3 there is a channel info section. Is there a way to turn this off? I would rather see more time slots than info on every channel I scroll through!

No way to turn it off... Someone at the Echostar decided we need that over a complete 3 hour guide....

The channel info is part of the Guide. You are not able to remove this from your view.

No way to turn it off... Someone at the Echostar decided we need that over a complete 3 hour guide....

Pretty dumb. At least we should be able to suppress it. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, I don't really need to see the info for every show as I scroll thru the guide. That's what the Info button is for. I'd MUCH rather have a full 3 hour view. You know, the way it USED to be.

The old longer guide was a plus. That was one of the features I liked over Fios.

I like the idea of being able to see the complete information for the shows ,but I wish that they could do that and still do the 3 hour guide at the same time.
