Hook up sl3 to Hd 24-200 receiver

I need to know if the P1-21 power supply is necessary to hook up sl3 using Hd-24-200 receiver. Also since this is my first time doing this are there any step-by step instuctions?

what LNB is it?
If its the one that has 4 outputs then no you do not need the Power Supply....you do need the BBC's to get HD
If its the one with one output (SWM) then yes you need the PI...no BBC needed
