Well, we got our HD locals the other day. Most of our local channels anyway. My mom spoke with DirecTV customer service and they said that Hoak Media (owner of KNOE and KAQY) didn't agree to offer their channels. Knowing that Hoak owns several stations around the country, I was wondering if anyone else here has had similar problems with them.
I know they aren't the brightest bunch. Our wireless ISP has a transmitter on the KNOE tower, and a month or so after they bought the station they didn't pay the electric bill for the tower so Entergy cut them off! The ISP owner drove over and ran a long extension cord from a nearby shed that had power so we could all get back online.
