Hitachi 42HDT79 vs 42HDF39

I have seen many positive reviews of the Hitachi line of plasmas TVs. I was recently checking prices and capabity with a online store and I was told that the 42HDF was a newer model and had better picture quality and more features; it was also the more expensive TV. I looked on the Hitachi website and it didn't have much info on the 42HDF but stated that the 42HDT was their newest release and was an upgrade to the 32HDS69. Anyone have experience with these plasma models?
