i have fortec lifetime ultra how can i check what date it was made no sticker on back i also removed the front panel there is a date 1 like this EL 04 12 and onothere 1 like this 041012

041012 actually means 2004 October 12 or as we use in the USA,
October 12, 2004. This could be the manufacture date.

In France, Germany, Austria, Swiss, Italy and other states we're using this kind of dates:
12.10.04 or 121004

Go on www.tv-images.de and take a look at the upper right part. There's the current date for Germany. Now change the language of this website into English and take a look on the date again
