I become a Dish subscriber the day my cable company took off the NASA channel to add yet another sports channel. Echostar only had 2 satellites in those days and I bought a model 4000. A few years later I got a 5000 for my travel trailer because of the off-air tuner.
Now I've been using a 522 for about a year and just got my AV700E back from warranty repair for a bum "on/select" button and things are generally great cept the 522 went south and the replacement I've had for 2 weeks is also acting whacky.
