Have a problem, just yesterday, when my HH90 attached to a Fortec 80cm dish decided to go all the way West and now it won't budge. I had just finished blindscanning AMC9, and was working my way under USALS to the next linear bird west, when there was no longer any control . I never got to AMC 2. Finally , after a lot of looking at settings, I went out and look up on the roof at the dish. OOOPS, all the way West . There's snow and ice up there and I can't investigate 'till later in the week. Michigan weather is above freezing all week long, so it should clear fast.
I know there is no hardware control switch on this motor, so I'm looking for a clue on getting it back to zero . My inclination is to bring it down and unload it, and see what happens on the ground with a short coax. That'll be a couple days. It's still in warranty, so long term I may be okay.
I also order another motorized kit from Sadoun today, a long coveted 90cm dish, with SG-2100 motor this time, and an Invacom QPH031 . At best, I'll have some spare parts for an additional motorized system. Won't my wife be glad ! Coincidentally, I'm retiring March 1, so she has a lot of adjusting to do . :)

Mine did that a while ago and it never recovered ; never recovered.
Tried to find parts, even emailed stabb no luck. If you manage to fix yours please
let me know as mine is on the shelf in the basement for last 6 months.
I need the positioner board as the motor is fine.

all is not lost . . . ?

I am pretty sure they have a two-year manufacturer warranty.
You both may be covered.
Check up on the matter - ya may be pleasantly surprised.

Sadoun advertises them with a 3 year factory warranty. That's basically why I chose it as my first motor. When in doubt, get a warranty. I've been outside throwing salt on the roof to help the meltoff. Maybe tomorrow sometime, I'll have that baby on the ground and can make a diagnosis. Meanwhile, my other Sadoun order in waiting to be shipped, so I'll be busy in the near future. I sure miss that motorized dish. Watching my subbed ird is not the same, it's like being a caged bird ! :)

Brent636, You are going to love the qph 031 with a the motor. Especially when you retire, as now you will have all the time needed to search the skys . Since I retired and have a motor setup, not only have I found a lot of birds, but my wife had to put me on a diet because thats all she thinks I do all day is search and eat. lol
Friend had the same thing hapen to his hh-90, sent it back a month ago now they don't know where it is.
good luck and remember when you start to search Lyngsat is your friend.

Got the dish off the roof today, and checked out the motor in the basement. It appears dead, so I called Sadoun. The nice lady checked with someone and told me to fill out the RMA request form, and they'd send me a number for returning the unit. Looks like I'll eventually have TWO motorized systems, my original 80cm with the HH90 ( once I get it back ), and a new 90cm with a SG2100 ( supposed to ship Monday, probably-waiting on Invacom lnb to show up) . The 90 cm will go up on the roof and the 80 on my side yard tripod, for playing. Might be able to move it into the front yard when my wife's at the grocery store, and see if I can hit anything east of Amazonas ! :)
Life is looking up .

Limited time offer-free cat toy from Sadoun

For a limited time, each Sadoun motorized dish comes with a free cat toy. Of course, basement drywall work must be temporarily suspended.

Good timing, this week. Great thaw in Michigan and my 90 cm dish is fully operational on the roof. USALS now bringing in everything between 43.1 W and 148W, so I'd say that it's tuned in. FortecStar emailed me that a replacement HH90 motor was shipped today, to go back on my 80cm dish. Life is exciting, when you're waiting for the new toys ! .

:)
