Ok, time out for a little humor, shamelessly ripped from another forum site.

Apparently the current edition of Audio & Vision magazine has an article and plug for Blu-ray. The first photo shows a scan of the article. The second is a close-up of the specs for the Sony BD player, with the description ""available through an HEMI connection found on almost all new HDTVs."

Dang! My SONY HDTV doesn't have any HEMI connections, I checked! I'm gonna write Sony & demand to know why my Sony HDTV don't have no dang HEMI connection!

My Toshiba XA1 HD DVD sure plays beautifully on it, though. ;)

I just tested my theory; the 'D' and 'E' keys are next to each other and, at least in my word dictionary, HEMI is an acceptable word. Damn spell check and no real proof-reading.

Or maybe a spell checker operated by a clueless. "No such word: HDMI Would you like to correct to HEMI?"

Is HD-DVD loosing their footing?

Why HD DVD has the edge in the format war
