That's a rather unique way to go about setting up a system. In most cases, people fall into one of two categories: 1. You know what programming you want and what satellite it is found on, and set a stationary dish for that. 2. You want programming from multiple satellites (or just "want to see what's available") and install a motorized dish.
The short answer, i suppose, is hook up the coax and you'll get whatever you get...Likely a complete waste of time in itself, considering what it is probably pointed at.
