Sportvision's Graphic Capabilities Combined With SportsHD's Pristine High Definition Programming a Boon to Fans and Marketers Alike

DENVER, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- SportsHD Productions, Inc. ( www.sportshd.com ) and Sportvision, Inc. ( www.sportvision.com ), two companies that are changing how sports fans experience sports on television, announced a strategic partnership today designed to give sports fans the ultimate high definition television viewing experience.

Emmy-winning Sportvision, best known for its real-time virtual yellow first down line in football and numerous innovations in NASCAR, the Olympics and other sports, will bring graphical enhancement capabilities to SportsHD programming that have the potential to inform, educate and entertain depending on the application. Sportvision's graphics are especially sharp and effective in high definition.

"Sportvision's distinctive graphic enhancements will help make our high definition 'docu-sports' programming truly unique," said Matt Bortz, SportsHD's president and chief operating officer. "Sportvision is the clear leader in broadcast sports technology and we're thrilled to partner with them to make our features more informative and enjoyable for our viewers."

The new partnership will excite marketers, too. Sportvision's real-time television enhancements not only will help get viewers inside the sports experience, they will get marketers "in the action" of SportsHD programming. SportsHD will utilize Sportvision's live and post-production insertion capabilities, resulting in creative product placements and other value-added benefits for sponsors and advertisers.

"Our graphic enhancements play uniquely in high definition and will look extremely crisp in SportsHD's features," said Hank Adams, Sportvision's chief executive officer. "We're confident our capabilities, combined with SportsHD's high-quality 'docu-sports' programming, will delight both viewers and marketers. Together, we will give viewers first-rate sports stories."

In addition to partnering on various domestic projects, SportsHD and Sportvision will collaborate on multiple international ventures as well.

"Sportvision has a history of success in the international marketplace, as their recent Emmy for the Olympics attests," said Bortz. "We will be producing, marketing, and distributing SportsHD features in a variety of international markets. Sportvision will be a valued partner as we deliver premier high definition productions around the globe
