Help with remote codes. Sony DG810

I've been looking for remote codes to control a HD DVD player(HD-A3). No codes provided in the manaul. After weeks of searching no luck.

I also need it to control a Scientific Atlanta 8300 HD DVR cable box. I have used the provided codes for it but only the number buttons and the channel up & down buttons work.

Its remote model number RM-AAP016

Please Help
