Hi I am a Sr. Citizen TRYING to play in the younger leagues! I have a 322 Dish receiver, had to replace it....we have had a 3rd tv hooked up and I bought a remote for it, all worked well until I had to replace the receiver and now I can't get the remote to fully function...before new receiver it did it all, volume, chg. channels, off/on....
Can anyone tell me how to program it? Thanks so much!

You probably need to set the correct UHF address and then enter the code for your TV.

Start by cracking open the manual to the 322. It has all of the procedures in there.

I read the manual and it never mentions 3rd remote, I tried to set an address and it messed up 2nd remote...now having to use 2nd remote for some features, remote for tv for off/on....wish I could remember what I did to make it work 2 years ago...thanks for suggestions though!

ok, so I use same "address" then set up the tv code (which is different from 2nd TV)?
If this works I will be SO grateful....had so much problems lately with receivers...first 322 was hit by lightning, then got replacement which knocked out telephone ground and disable our phone if it was plugged into phone line, then got third 322 week later then remote quit working on 3rd tv....522 was hit by same lighting, but the replacement for it works great! Again thanks.

Right. The address from the receiver is the part that allows the remote to control that receiver.

Then you enter the TV code of the 3rd TV, which unless the 3rd TV is the same as the 2nd TV, is a different code.

YOU ROCK!
Thanks for helping me out...it now works perfectly....I wrote it down in my 322 manual so the next time I have to switch out the receiver I won't have this problem.
If I add a 3rd TV to my 522 will it work the same way?

Thanks! I told my brother about this site, he is having a problem adding a 3rd tv, as the installer did his installation for the 2nd tv differently than mine and nothing seems to work for him! I KNOW you guys can assist him also.
I bookmarked this site, it is great!
