Help with new DirecTV Setup

Hey guys,
With the deals being offered, I'm thinking of switching from Dish. To do this, I'm wondering if the following is possible:

Have a total of 5 receivers. 3 in separate rooms and then the HD receiver as well as a Tivo receiver downstairs on one TV. My concerns are:

1) can you have 5 receivers in a house and
2) how does it work having 2 receivers on 1 TV? If I have a universal remote, can this setup work or will it try changing both receivers at the same time?

Yes you can have 5 receivers in one house and 2 in one room. You would want to get a Phase III (triple LNB) dish and a 5x8 Multiswitch. Call D* and see what they offer, you may also want to try our sponsor value electronics at the top of the page.
