Help with HR20

I have a few questions that I can't figure out... I have tinkered some but can't get it and you guys might be able to answer it right away and help me out.

On my old Tivo I could click the >| button twice and it would take me to the end and then the beginning right away... this button is on the HR20 remote but it skips 30 secs I believe. Is there a way to goto the end and beginning of a recorded show quickly?

afaik rew and ff only way to jump from begining to end on hr20 as of now

maybe theyll put that feature in a software update in the future

You can do the "skip to tick" by holding FFW down for 3 seconds and it will jump to the next tick. Not as smooth but works. I don't think there is anyway to just jump to the end or beginning but then I don't mess with the trick play stuff much. On DBSTalk there is a very large "Tips and Tricks FAQ" as well as a "Tivo to HR20 Survival Guide" that might help you out with these things.

unfortunatly yes, or you could watch entire show in real time

im sure dtv will have a fix for this in future your request is far from unreasonable
damn tivo spoiled us too much

Or hold down RRW or FFW for 3 seconds and it will jump to tics.

To jump to the beginning or the end of the program, hold down the Instant Replay or 30 Sec. Commercial Skip buttons.
