Help with BSC621-2 setup

I recently purchased and installed a DMS BSC621-2. I have mounted and adjusted both skew and focal length. I have good signal and picture on the C-band side, across the arc. However I am unable to get any Ku channels. I have good signal from the Ku sats but no quality, and I mean none. I have adjusted the LNBF in attemps to get at least a little quality. I have checked and tried different TP's for different sats, Blindscan, but to no avail.
I hoping I'm just missing something in my set up.
I have an 8' mesh dish. I am told that this dish should work for Ku, the mesh is small enough.

I don't have the "-2" version, and I don't use the built in (whatever) switch, I run separate lines. But, that being said, I think the switch is a 22KHz switch? So, try to take the diseqc out of the loop, and use the 22KHz On for one of them. Don't know which one? Good Luck..!!!

First thing with the BSC621, remove the cap.
The "2" version is a Unviersal Ku LNB with built-in DiSEqC Switch.
Your receiver set up looks good.
To get the skew at Zero, I parked the Dish at my True South Sat, then looked from behind the Dish, with the cap off, you should see a 1/4" metal rod Horizontal.
The BSC621 takes a little while to setup for Ku.
Pick a Sat that has both C and Ku, then make very small moves, both skew and f/d ratio.

VoomVoom is right - the -2 is Universal, and uses 10600 for the LO.

Since the Low/High Local Oscillator switch is 22khz, the built-in diseqc switch selects between the C-band and Ku-band LNBs.

Earlier models had an arrow on the Ku barrel.
As I recall, it needed to be at 12 o'clock when you were on your true south bird.
There have been reports that recent production has a -30..0..+30 scale.
What does yours have? Can you post a picture?

if you do it that way (10600) then 22k needs to be set to ON

Thanks guys.. the 22k tone did it. I tried that set up earlier but must have had the LNBF misaligned. little more dialing in and I should be good to go.

One more question... Slaving my Toshiba TRX-2000 to the Nuesat.. Possible?

sure it is.

I have my Toshiba TRX1420 slaved to my Coolsat 5000...the 5000 moves the KU dish and the Toshiba is for the analog (whats left) feeds

I have the same settings on my BSC 621-2, but I have my 22 khz switch set to "off". I get a whole bunch of Ku. Just sayin'
