I currently have an HD-DVR and if I stayed, I would of course get the new HD that has MPEG 4. Will this new receiver enable me, out of the box, to connect my internet to the box as a substitute for a phone line?

Is there any way for me to do it with my HD-DVR (TiVo model)? (I'm guessing no.)

Did you use the method I gave you with the serial port? It works great for connecting out via the internet.
