Hello everyone,
I thought this might be a good place to post this since I haven't seen any replies over at AVS Forum. Basicallly I had a Dish Network tech come out yesterday and install dish HD receiver 222 to a new Panasonic 32" LCD TV I bought. Basically everything looks great except I noticed on some SD channels that have the black bars on the side, I notice a 1/4" or so lighter black bar right along the right side of the picture before the rest of the bar goes black. There even seems to be some very thin lines that run along the picture by this lighter bar. I don't believe it is the tv since not all SD channels do this. I'm using component since I haven't had a chance to get a HDMI cable yet. I tried turning the box off and on without help. I will try a hard reset tonight. Basically the lighter strip of a lighter black vertical bar is kind of annoying. I'm thinking it might be the receiver box itself. The tech had to reschedule since the first one he had didn't work and this one had to be shipped to him.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Robert
