Help me out please!

I just bought a 2 reciever Coolsat Pro 4000 and universal package, I live in Tilton New Hampshire, the stuff hasn't got here yet, but I wanted to get a jump on what to do when it does, I saw the LyngSat page, (Don't really understand it). Is this a complete deal to get rid of Cable and regular Satelite TV, I mean you can get almost all of the channels that you could with those right? And I need to know how to find like my true north or south, and how you all did what you did. Please take the time to answer this for me as I'm very lost.
