I have an old superdish that I am trying to add lnbs to. I have the dish pointed at 91w. A second lnb picking up 87w, and I'm trying to get another set to pickup 103w. I realize that might not be possible but I do have signal from a satellite. The problem is i cant figure out which one.

These are the transponders I'm finding:
11713H 9356
11756H 5398
11940H 32997
12060H 29996
12140H 29996
11933V 4999
11975V 4099
12007V 7999
12603V 19998

I cant find anything online that matches any of them.
I'm also finding 11760H 30000, but with a different lnb and on the wrong side of the dish, 85% quality, no channels found.

The picture shows my (messy) setup. Left to right lnb1 is the one receiving 11760. Lnb2 is receiving 87w. Lnb3 is 91w. Lnb4 is 103?

The only transponder you might pick up from 103 would be 12141/V/20000 which has NHK, CGTN and music. Just from a guess, you might be pointed at 101 picking up the strong DBS stuff.
Very little chance of getting 87 and 103 from the same dish unless it's a big ol boy.

Thanks guys, I did have cgtn briefly but couldn't find it again. I will try adjusting it again tomorrow and see if I can get a lock. If not I know where an old Hughesnet dish is that was already offered to me.

I wish I had his dish.

It's not hard to do offset LNB's if the dish is big enough; just depends on which satellites you are interested in and what your budget will allow. I currently have eyes on 8 satellites using 4 dishes (a 1.2m, a 90cm and two 76cm). I'd probably add more LNB's but my switch input capacity is only 8.

I know I just dont have the cash to buy a bigger dish and the only abandoned dishes around me are old DirecTV/dish/hughesnet dishes that are not any bigger than what I have now and mesh and fiberglass c band dishes. I already have permission to take a 12 foot and a 6 foot mesh in the spring.

You were pretty much spot on. Even when I re aligned the dish I couldn't get the nbc/cozi channels. I guess I just need to get a bigger dish.

Have you ever not been able to get a dish to work?
