Heard FTA Just Today

Hi All,

I just heard about FTA today. I was thinking of getting FTA receiver from one guy but he is asking for $400 bucks. Is it going to be that expensive ? Looking for Dishnetwork channels. If $400 is expensive what you guys suggest, where to buy ?

One of my friends is selling his Used Dish 500 single LNB and SW 34 switch. If i get FTA receiver can i make use of this dish ?

Whatelse is needed ?
