I mostly lurk and sometimes post here. I had Directv installed on Friday so I guess I'll check out that forum.

I liked Dish, but since I no longer live in an apartment, I can't get online Sunday Ticket so that's why I switched.

Well... Cool. Hope it works out for you. I had DTV with the HR44 Genie and enjoyed it.

I always liked DirecTV's service fine, but I switched to Dish again after getting to use a Hopper. I had the HR44 which is nice, but (to me) it is no comparison to the Hopper. The equipment, the way everything is integrated with the Dish apps, and Sling are the main reasons I stay with Dish.
