I am looking for a new HDTV reciever for Directv.

I am wanting a similar receiver to the Toshiba DST-3000 model.

especailly with Caller ID feature, Fast channel changing. especally with Signal test Meter. Aspect Ration Control (Full/Cropped/Side Panels) in 4:3 and 16:9 Mode

I DONOT want a DST-3000.

Maybe the Samsung SIR TS360 or Hughes HTL-HD will fit your needs. No caller ID however.

The only HD STB with Caller ID is the new RCA DTC-210, in fact, it's the only current HD model.

is the RCA DTC-210 good at changing channel fast, and fast at scrolling through the onscreen directv program guide ?

The SIR-TS360 DOES have Caller ID because I just bought one and that was one of the main reasons I went with it.

I kinda don't like the outside appearance of the Samsung SIR-TS360 receiver.

so thats why i am looking at the RCA DTC-210 but i need someone to help me out with the post number 6 i made eariler. thanks

Yes, the guide and channel changing is very fast on the DTC-210.

does the Rca DTC-210 have a fan inside the reciever?
and if it has a fan inside, then is it noisy ?
