HDMI Splitter for Multi-room Viewing

I am wondering if there is a product out there that will split the signal from the HDMI output on my DirecTV reciever so that I can hook up to a second TV in an adjoining room?

Or..........is it possible to hook one TV up with the HDMI cable and the other with component cables and be able to view the same content simultaneously?

Yes, get a powered splitter.

Yes, that is what I do.

Don't forget to hook up audio cables for the tv that is using component.
