HDMI dual tuner???

i have the vip 622 dual tuner box & was wondering if i use a 50-75 ft hdmi cable from box one(dual tuner) to another hd ready tv will that make tv 2 hd & also some of the cables come with built in equalizer while some don't. Do i need an equalizer?? Thanks

HDMI and Component outputs on the 622 are TV1 outs only. This means that if you hook up one TV via component and the other Via HDMI you will have two TV1s. They will both be HD but they will both show the same channel/DVR program.

You could do this and also run a composit or Svideo/Audio out to the second TV and this way you have a choice to be cloned to TV 1 or be able to be on separate TV 2 SD.

Remember TV 1 remote by default is IR only so you would need the UHF modification or an IR repeater to control TV1 from the distant TV
