Got a problem. Slab built house with an unsual attic that does not allow me to get to the wall I need to fish. Plus there are stairs in the way. Customer doesn't want a wrap around the house.
Essentially I can't get a wire there..So my question is this..Is there a device that can transmit audio and video wireless from the sat receiver to the tv?....This is in HD...
Thanks for all help in advance.

No, not yet. There are systems in development but they will (of course) be very expensive.

Have them hire an electrical or an A/V contractor to pre-fish the cable run for you/them and then go back out.

You might try cat 5 depending on prewire of house.
that was a thought. Howerver I don't have the equipment or the expertise to do cat5 audio/video..I haven't had the occasion to get into that.
In any event, the problem is the way the house is built....I can get into the attic no problem..The living room has a vaulted ceiling that I can crawl over the peak but the pitch down to the wall is steep..Plus the wall behind the tv has stairs on the other side. So dropping anything down that wall will require not only some acrobatics but getting past the ledger strip that the stair strings rest upon...the other alterantive is to wrap the house come into a bedroom run the cable along a wall into a closet behind the tv and pop thru the wall there.. Customer is concerend with the cable length and siganl loss..I told him that the loss would be insignificant. If he wants this doen he'll have to go with the longer cable run...
