HD satellite on Dish 500 pro?

I have a dish 500 pro satellite. Can I get the HD package with a 811 box, like the ones located on ebay? Or do I need a 121 Super dish and a 811 box?
I am located in Madison, WI if that helps.

You do not need a SuperDish to get HD. There is CBS & a demo channel on 61.5 & CBS on 148.

All other HD is on the main birds.

So the answer is yes you can get HD.

At least for now, all the other HD is on 110 and 119. That could change with 2 new Dish satellites queued up for 105 and 85.

Isn't Madison locals on 121?

If you don't have locals, all HD (except for CBS-HD) is on 110
