HD SAT - or wait ?

How is the LG 30FS4D (or any HD CRT 30 incher) with regular (non HD) satellite?
I have reg Direct TV now.

I have a Vizio 32" LCD, but I am not sure if I like it all that much.
Will the LG look even better with reg SAT than my 5 yr old Toshiba 27" CRT?

Also, this LG only has one HDMI, does it have a RGB, in case I up grade to HD Satellite? (My DVD player has an HDMI, so I would need a TV with either 2 HDMI's or one plus an RGB).

There just do not seem to be enough HD channels to warrant the upgrade.

What's the point of having an HD set with no HD programming? Depending on what channels you have now, you get 6 from the HD pack, HBO and/or Showtime if you get either of them now and depending on your location your locals over the dish. You can also use the ATSC tuner in the receiver to get your locals OTA via antenna.

As for RGB, the new Directv boxes don't have it as an output option, you're going to have to use component connections.

I would like to upgrade from current old 27" Toshiba CRT. I am looking for a new TV that supports widescreen, so if not looking at a HD CRT or LCD, what type of TV would you suggest?

The LG you mentioned would fit that bill, I've been reading a lot of good about them, thinking about getting one for my living room since I have a spare D* HD box.
