HD problem

I have a real problem that only started recently. Our HD programming is starting to freeze up only on certain channels. I checked all connections, realignment etc and looked at our signal strength all are fine. We are using a Sony HDTV receiver which does not seem to be a problem. I switched out receivers and the wireing does not seem to be an issue. Could it be a bad LNB?


We are stumped as to what the problem may be....any ideas?

You say you swithced receivers and STILL had the problem?

Have you tested your reciever at another working location or another outlet in the house?

yes, I moved it to another location and it worked fine. I'm thinking the HD cable may be shot. could it be also that the LNB might need to be replaced?

The LNB could be bad. Since you say it only happens on certain channels.

What channels does this happen on?
