HD Locals for those of us w/o them yet

Will D*'s unleashing of new national HD channels be followed by a similar unleashing of HD locals for those us still out in the cold on the HD local front? I've been wanting D* for two years now (even before the big HD release), but no HD locals in the Richmond-Petersburg, VA market have made me keep my foot on the brakes. I've got FIOS tv now, and I like it, but VZ is notoriously and maddeningly silent on their HD rollout plans.

Yes, that is part of the plan for the new satellites, but I'm thinking I heard it's more for D11 than D10, with D10 focusing on Nationals...
