I was looking through gosatellite's website and they have a couple of nice hd receivers but my question is wether its worth it to spend the money on one. How many hd fta channels are they and are any of them worth watching at all?

KU or C-Band?
KU there is one 24/7 and that is PBS
C-Band I know of ABC, CBS, Outdoor Network, a movie channel, CW.
Mainly its good for feeds...the stuff that pops up like sporting events...pop up for game..gone after

Also I do not think that HD STB have blind scan.
Probably the best setup for FTA is a FTA STB that can blind scan and a PC tuner for HD and 4:2:2 , and it is also much cheaper.
