HD FTA channels

What are the most common HD FTA channels? I want to test my receiver and the only one I got so far was the hd demo on 82w.

The are a few PBS channels on 125 west

82W is Nimiq 4 and there is NO fta there, circular lnb needed, and only pirates can receive that channel without subscribing.

There are a lot of free HD up there, as stated, several PBS on 125W.

C Band has a lot of free HD, and you might let us know if you are looking for KU or C Band stations.

ABC on the Caribbean Mux, great signal and several hours earlier than what we would normally get here in Mountain or Pacific Time Zones.

I found the HD ones on 125w. I only have ku.

AMC 21 @ 125.0W is the best. The HD channels there are unencrypted. You can see the difference easily and there are channels that have the same broadcast in SD at the same time so you can compare how they appear on your TV. Good spot to play with.

There is one open preview channel on Nimiq 4. HD but you need a reciever capable of 8PSK turbo FEC, (ie Genpix). Good sat marker but that's about it.
