Anyone else noticed that All American has been feeding some programs off the Atlanta (CBS, NBC) widescreen HD feeds? Of course, for us SD folks we loose the edges. I noticed the HD logos during the programs and when the credits would run, the left side would be cut off. I think the picture has been better, but the real question is, are there plans for All American to offer a national distant network HD package to compete with Direct TV?????? OR, maybe they are just getting ready for analog to die and they will have to uplink the widescreen HD broadcast.

You mean like 5731 thru 5738, the HD DNS channels?
Yes, also same set that starts on Ch 241. Just wonder if AAD/DNS will offer HD. Also, what will happen when there are no analog feeds from network stations available for AAD/DNS or local stations from DISH? Will those look screwed up when you are watching on a standard tv? Since all the feeds will be 16x9 what will happen? My RV does not have a widescreen tv and I don't plan on adding one. My thought would be that AAD/DNS or Dish would furnish the non HD in a letterbox mode but that is not what AAD/DNS is doing as of this date. I can't speak for Dish locals since I don't qualify for any. I should say they don't offer any. I would qualify since I am about 90 miles, as the crow flies, from either Memphis or Little Rock, AR. I do know that those with DirectTV that live in Memphis can receive the Memphis locals in North Central Arkansas at vacation homes but Direct will not let residents in that area have them. The only station that is available OTA is the analog signal of an ABC station. Too far away for the same stations HD signal. When Dish did furnish DNS, they did play by the rules as far as I was concerned. No ABC.
