what happens when one takes a HD feed from one of the HD capable Dish DVR Receivers and sends a mirror image to a SD television set?

don't need a discussion of more receivers
don't need a discussion of "how to use diplexers and/or splitters"

I'm just curious about a simple HD connection sent to a SD tv.

I'm contemplating a daisy chain of two SD tvs mirroring the feed to the single HD on a particular receiver...... has NOTHING to do with the other receivers in the house .... just simply trying to cut down on the DishNetwork fees that I pay.

The HD feed is mandantory, as well as the SD TV2 feed to elsewhere.

the single HD feed from the MasterBedroom will be sent to a dressing closet area and an excercise area..... the SD TV2 feed from THAT receiver will be sent to the home office where something else could be watched.

Yes, I know how to do it with using other receivers, other hookups via SD feeds I'm wanting to know what happens when you hook up a SD tv to an HD feed.

It works pretty well to just have it in 4:3 mode most of the time since most shows are now shot to have the edges cut off. You just push the star on the TV2 remote to go back and forth.

thanks for the replies

so from what has been said I deduce there are no inherent difficulties in mirroring an HD feed to a SD tv.

now, before I decide which combo of HD DVRs, SD DVRs, and SD receivers I am to order I must come up with what signals I'll need where and in what definition at the ten tvs to which I'll be sending a signal

appreciate the help
