They won't, as far as I know.

Doubt it. When Dish actually catches up with the HD programming that might but don't hold your breathe it will be the better part of this year. That is if Dish's DVR is still working and / or affordable depending on the outcome of the TIVO trial and any required payments or shut down.

According to WhoIs, it's not supposed to expire until September: WHOIS domain registration information

First thing I'd do is contact whoever you registered through. Or the contacts listed in WhoIs (if that's not your information).

Try a different domain registry. If nobody else has picked it up, you should be able to register it.
