I have had my HR20-100S HD DVR since July of last year and have had almost no problems, but in the last two weeks, it started with losing some stations- all the ESPN's, TNT, and some of my locals to a message Searching for satellite. I would reset the receiver and that would work for about 6 hours and the same thing would happen again. I also have a regular HD receiver and an SD receiver and they would be fine, so I am guessing it is not the position of the satellite.

Now I am losing my service on my HD DVR completely- I am getting a message out of the blue Acquiring Guide Data and the screen goes grey. The message says to reset the receiver and if that doesn't work check the position of the dish and if that doesn't work to call customer service with message 772. Has anyone else had this happen before?

Sounds like an alignment problem. but it could be a lot of things. Check your signal strengths and see if they are all in the 80s and 90s.
