Welcome again to our HD DVD/Blu-ray forum! Just wanted to update you guys on some changes I've made this week.
Most importantly, we now have a new portal: "HD DVD - Blu-ray War Zone"! Make sure to bookmark its URL: http://hddvd.satelliteguys.us The idea is to have all latest headlines, links to important resources and the latest discussions related to the new disc formats - all at your fingertips on a single page. Hope you will like it! The portal page will be updated and expanded daily. As we are getting closer the launch day, news and discussions will only heat up. So, make sure to stop by often!
Some house-keeping notes. We now have a new sub-forum: "Format War News". This is where all news and press releases related to both formats will be posted from now on. We expect a lot of them in the next few months, and we don't want to flood the main "HD DVD & Blu-ray Disc" forum which we are going to leave for discussion threads. Note, that only moderators can start threads in the Format War News sub-forum, but anyone can reply there. And by the way, the headlines on the portal page come directly from the News sub-forum, so you may find it easier to browse the portal page instead.
For now, we are going to keep HD DVD and Blu-ray discussions together, in a single forum. Most of us are still trying to decide which format to go with, so whether we like it or not, many discussions will be about comparing one format to another. That is understandable, just don't let your passion and emotions about your favorite format turn into personal attacks!
