What sould it cost me to replace a Dish 510 with a HD DVR?? Thanks

Depending on how you qualify, it will either be $0 or $25 for a Vip 612 receiver and dish upgrade.

Or if you want a 622 it will probably be $50, and a 722 would be $125. If you are a long time subscriber out of contract they may be able to do a deal for you. It never hurts to give them a call and ask. I got a free 612, but then swapped it for a 622 because that 612 was a piece of junk.

Lease or Buy?

You didn't specify whether you want to lease or buy one. Checkout pricing at dishstore (at top of page) if looking to buy.. Otherwise, you'll have to call Dish.
I'm kinda in same situation but am currently researching a Slingbox for my needs. Gerry
