HD Channels not in HD

All of my HD channels are showing in SD. I've changed the format to make sure it is set to normal but they all look like SD, they do not fill the screen. Any ideas?

Did a check switch and it was the same way. Rebooted and it fixed the problem. Thanks for the replies. Can't stand watching football in SD.

What sats do you have?

Did you go to Menu+6+8 and set the TV type (by accident) to 480 instead of 1080 or 720, as appropriate.
It may come that way originally. Yes, make sure your top banner says HD on satellite HD channels.

It din't fit the screen, just a shot in the dark, but did the have the screen size set to stretch?
