No. Any network connection needs to be via the ethernet port. You can use a wireless or powerline adapter with the HR2X's but it must connect via the ethernet port.

But it is powered...................

.....................so you can use it to power those cool laptop accessories like chill pads, coffee warmers, and reading lights. However, I doubt any of these uses are recommended or wise.
