Is HBO Max allowed now to play thru the Hopper 3? I noticed that HBO Max was no longer in my Amazon channel's list that I was paying $14.99 a month subscription for use thru my Firestick. So I went into my H3, clicked on the Prime Video app, did a search for HBO Max app, clicked on it, found a series that I was interested in, and clicked to purchase it. I was thinking it wouldn't work and was surprised it accepted. Not only did it accept the HBO Max purchase it also signed me up for HBO Max thru my Amazon account. The last time I looked into this the HBO Max wouldn't work thru Prime Video in Hoppers.

How many HBO Max on Hopper 3 threads do we need? :facepalm

I've been signed up for HBO Max through Amazon Prime for weeks, and using it on Roku TVs and Fire Sticks. I canceled my "regular" HBO subscription through Amazon before signing up for HBO Max. On my H3, if I go into the Prime app and try to watch an HBO show, it asks me if I want to subscribe to HBO, even though I am subscribed and logged in to my Prime Video account. I even signed out of Amazon and signed back in...same result. So, a different experience here. H3 is on U939 and AN461. I like how HBO Max works on the Roku, so I don't really care. One thing I don't like about Prime Video on the H3 is how many Back button presses it takes to exit the app. Home and other buttons are not a way out of it, in my experience.

Thanks Altitudinous. My Firestick HBO Max works great too. We like using it thru the H3 so don't need to switch remote controls, TV input, etc. Also, I RF modulate out from our H3 to all TVs in my home distribution system so we can sync watch the H3 on all TVs. The Firestick can only be seen on the TV it is plugged in to. I was just surprised HBO Max was working with the H3 even thru the Prime Video app.

And if we add one more, then there will be four.
But unlike the others, this one is very succinct and to the point. It works on one guy's H3 and not on another. Prior to this, it apparently didn't work on anybody's. So think of this thread as a culmination, a netting out, the pinnacle, I dare say, The MAX of H3/Prime/HBO achievements.
