I have been asked to start a thread on this subject. I do not have a Hopper 3, so I cannot verify any of this for myself. If this information is incorrect, please direct all complaints at eddie willers.
By the way. HBO Max was finally added to Amazon Prime yesterday. I'd post about it in the Dish Satellite forum, but it might get squirreled away in this Cord Cutters thread anyway. Crodrules, can you start a thread there if you think it worthy?
This is more to inform Dish subscribers who lost HBO as an option long ago. The last time Dish had them, they had dropped all discounts and charged the full $14.99 for the multi-channels. Now Amazon Prime has agreed to carry HBO Max at that same $14.99 price and also gives On Demand to virtually anything that has ever appeared on HBO (Yeah "Deadwood" and "Rome")
A good deal and a way for Dish folks to get the HBO they lost.
