HBO / Cinemax Freeview 6/8 - 6/11

Not at the prices that they charge for Hbo. $16.00 a month is way too much for most people. I have it ,but only because I got the HBO half price deal for 6 months. I only pay $8.00 a month & it ends in October. That is enough time to get through True Blood and a few other shows that end by the fall. When you consider you can get the Welcome pack for $14.99 a month, and it includes your locals in HD if available and 20 other random channels from all packs, Hbo is simply too high in price.

I can't disagree $16 is a bit much, but HBO is a must have for us. I don't have up to date figures but it was the most subscribed to premium at one time. They have series after series that are better than most anything else on TV. Adding HBO GO has been fantastic. I recently finished watching "Deadwood" for the second time on my Roku, could watch it again lol...... Because we watch so many series they have and do watch movies, $200 a year for us is good entertainment. I wouldn't disagree even a "must have" has a price limit, if they go up much more I would have to rethink .

Or you could buy the entire Deadwood Series on Bluray for $65, a season at a time of other series for $35-$40 each and rent the movies you want from Redbox for $1-2 each and save from that $200/year. :)
