Yes, But it seems a little expensive. Wasn't it way cheaper before? It seems like Discovery decided they would play for higher pay.:D

It was about $7.49 though SRL if I remember correctly. Skyvision is higher than SRL as they as a secondary provider off SRL. I'm waiting for SRL to post their price of it, but most likely I'll get the SuperPak which includes them anyway and does not appear to have gone up in price.

Okay,
Thanks for the info. I thought it was like $6 a month before. But, maybe that was through NPS and didn't include the uplinks. I can't remember.

SRL had two different Discovery Suite packages. One on W5 for $7.49 ish and the other was the masters on C3 for a little over $1.50 cheaper if I recall.

You guys did it! Thank you for representing SatelliteGuys so well by working with Discovery and being Polite.

Because of your hard work the Discovery Suite is going to be available!

Mike Kohl mentioned your politeness being a major factor being a major force in your success!

Good going and THANK YOU for being true SatelliteGuys!

This is awesome - well done, congratulations and much gratitude

If the S2 HD masters were able to be subbed it would put pizza and cable HD Lite to shame. They won't let that happen since they could not compete with the bandwidth available on C band. I hate to say it but the only way that we could get access to those feeds was if a hack came out and we had it. They don't want us to have the distro feeds anymore pure and simple.

The reason the W5 channnels were and are always more expensive was because HITS has to get their cut for transmission.

Yes, could you imagine with the help of this site. How it would take off. There would be a resurgence of those umbrella disguised buds popping up in HOA neighborhoods looking for their favorite channels in master HD quality at a reduced price, because of not having to pay a company with a large infrastructure (re-uplinkers) just to bring the signals into the home. Thats what BUD was all about since the beginning and it's been taken away channel by channel, never ending price increases, forced packaging and lack of HD. If somebody could bring back C-bands roots it would grow. But, like you said someone would rather see it stomped out and not have a chance to bloom again. Who might that be? Cable, E* and D*? The programmers themselves, "like HBO"? I think the Cband (NPS,SRL,TurnerVision,ect...)re-sellers blame it on us. But, if they had something else to offer things would be different. It seems like now they expecting people to buy a 1999 lexus off a new car lot for the same price of a current 2010 model. Something has to be done! Or else it isn't gonna fly except for a few. Which is still okay. But, not ideal for the masses looking for best quality and bang for the buck.
