Hbo and showtime promotion

I just chatted with a csr thanked me for being such a good customer and had no trouble getting a free 3 months of Hbo and Showtime with autocancel
I understand this promotion has been denied to some people -not sure why
my package is dish latino basico $20/month-Have been a customer for 13 years

I just did an online chat with a CSR and they said they only had Showtime available for 3 months (although I currently subscribe to HBO)... but anyhow, I just got free Showtime for 3 months...

Yes.. very odd. It may have to do with the programming package, I have the 250 one, Platinum (free for 3 months) and HBO.

The more you spend w/ them the less likely they will have anything they can give you.

It has to do with whether/not you're still under contract, how long you have been with Dish overall, your programming package, how long it's been since you last had a promotion/freebie on your account, and (of course) how your CSR roulette came out.
