DirecTV needs a new pricing model to account for HD as a stand alone package, but I doubt we'll ever see one. For those with only HD in their cribs, you can't stand to watch most SD programs and probably spend your time on HD programming. So you are paying a lot for stuff you don't want or need. Makes DirecTV happy.
How about allowing subscriptions to only HD content, take us back to the old days of 10 channels or so? Network channels in HD, the current HD package, HBO, thats it. All for $25. Forget Total Choice, which is a oxymoron, how about a HD only package?
