Hey! Im having a little...no alot of trouble with my coolsat 7000 pvr. My problem is that I have 83% level and no quality. I was wondering what could be the problem here. I was thinking that maybe it was my settings, but whatever I change..it stays the same. Also I have my coolsat set up to the satellite amazona..and was wondering what were they degrees for setting the dish up to meet that satellite signal. Thanks in advance for any help. :)

For FTA receivers that have a signal level and a quality level.

The signal level just means that the LNB is connected to the receiver, so the signal level means nothing when alighning the dish, it might change a little bit when you get close to a satellite.

The quality level is very important it tells you how clean the signal is, and is related to the signal to noise ratio, a very high quality level is better than a lower one.

If you have no quality level that means you are not receiving the transponder you have tuned to.

Also are you using Amazona as a name or are you trying to receive Amazona, if you are trying to receive it, it depending on your location you may not receive any channels from the Amazona satellite, The Ku beam can not be picked up in the United States or further North.

Im really not sure about all of those things:(
Lets see what I do know:
-Dish is Direct tv
-Im not sure what you mean by motor...or the LBN...I know I have 4 of them and they are hooked up to one diSeqc...
Im thinking is it the diSeqc..b/c its 2.0 and on the main meanu of coolsat 7000, it only has option for 1.0 and 1.1
And how am I suppose to tune into a transponder( Is that the satellite?)

Im sorry, but Im not at all savvy at this and the words...I decided I turn here, since my dad wont ask anyone for help.
Thanks Iceberg.

I dont think we are aimed at any.. Cause we dont know the coordinates for one, I believe he just moved it around, Elevation at 47 and Tilt at 70 degrees.. The one that we set the tv at is 61.0W Amazonas, Im guessing those degrees arent for it.

Unless you are working with a DirecTV International dish (the large, 30 inch elliptical one), you're not going to get anything but a few free banner channels from Dish Network on that dish. If its the small 18-20 inch dish, its practically useless for FTA.
