Pompano beach, Fl
Strange,
they added some excellent new HD channels.
But I can't get them.
I find out they added a new satelite and mapped
it out of the country.
They are not Bell?
What happened to Shaw Direct(Star choice)

Yep, Shaw Direct (formerly known as Star choice) added a new satellite, Anik G1, but it´s footprint does not reach as far south as the other 2 satellites.
That means that if you´re in FL, you won´t be able to get those new HD channels that are on the new sat, your receiver 6xxx may map them, but there won´t be any signal to watch them, unless you are in Canada or in the north of the US.

Tons of Canadians
Down here in south Florida.
Star choice has always been go to system
Not sure why they mapped a satellite out
Of US coverage?
Maybe they are planning to move other
Satellites out of US altogether.
Some interesting programming I can't get.
Disappointed. Oh well.

There were no more Ku Band slots available in the 103 to 119 arc. That's why they had to opt for a Canada only Extended Ku slot
