Seeing Cpt. Picard (Patrick Stewart) as Captain Ahab is interesting. 
This channel has commercials every so often, but right now they seem all to be short promos for upcoming movies. They are mercifully short.

Is Hallmark Movie Channel on any other service?
It seems that they are marketing themselves to cable and DBS, but SkyAngel is the first DBS to take the plunge. Perhaps once they get more viewers they will be able to sell and show more commercials.
